Pest Control Engineer Requirements
- Must be qualified to BPCA / RSPH level 2 in pest management or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience within the Pest Control Industry.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (Company will pay for this)
- A full UK driving license
- Inspect customer premises and report on status of premises on levels of pest infestation.
- Organise and undertake a programme of treatments using pesticides to control pests
- Undertake minor proofing works to prevent pest infestation.
- Competent written & verbal communication skills
- Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Able to work to and meet deadlines
- Achieve KPI’s
- Good organisational skills
- Able to work at height and in confined spaces.
- Applying suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with safety procedures.
- Safely install pest control materials including baits, sprays, powders and gels
- Responding to customers’ requests for various pest control services.
- Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services and products.
- Prepare quotations for new service proposals by explaining provisions and options to existing customers and new customers.
- Identify customer problems and selects the appropriate solution.
